Krista Stillwell

FOUNDER & STRATEGIST

After graduating from IU's Kelley School of Business in 2010, Krista joined the ever-changing media world in radio in downtown Indianapolis. She was a quick study of the events and promotional management world, learning from some of the best. Very quickly she realized that her restless heart was leading her to advocating for small businesses. In 2015, Stillwell+Co was born. This business has grown every year, focused on creating solid marketing and business operations for small businesses that are growth-minded, ROI-driven, and diligently poised. She provides workshops and training throughout central Indiana on topics such as social media, Google / SEO, and more, when she is not serving her clients.

In her downtime, Krista enjoys tacos, music, traveling to warm destinations (which rarely happens but one can dream), and enjoying time with her husband Bryan and their many fur-children on the family farm. She serves as a board member for the Boone County Chamber of Commerce, was recently appointed by the Lt. Governor of Indiana to the Indiana Grown Commission, and loves serving her local communities. Krista will spend the latter part of 2024 into 2025 as a part of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series, learning from the brightest minds in the Republican Party as she hopes to pursue civic leadership in her future.

Bethany Sheets

CONTENT CURATOR & CREATIVE ASSISTANT

Bethany says she's never been the crafty type. She can't draw, paint, or put together a cute Pinterest project to save her life. But artistic, yes. Creative, yes. Able to connect deeply through storytelling - for sure.

The first time Bethany caught the fire for creating digital storytelling was when she pieced together a photo montage of her friend being reunited with her Marine husband, using the photos she took at their military homecoming. When the music and photos collided at just the right moment and the music reached its peak, producing chills and a large lump in the back her throat - she was addicted to creating emotion through digital media.

Bethany is a native Frankfort Hotdog. She graduated from Purdue University in 2006 with a Bachelors in Psychology. She lived in Boston, then San Diego with her family and moved back to Indiana in 2016.

Bethany worked in various social work and nonprofit fields before landing at United Way, where she could use her love for strategic marketing and content creation on the job. She began to offer her skill and talent for several other non-profits like the Red Barn Summer Theatre, and community organizations like Zonta Club of Frankfort before pursuing her passion of freelancing full-time in 2023.

In her free time, Bethany enjoys farmers markets, coffee shops, and spending time with her firefighter husband and three children.
